I was a research fellow working on the SAsSy project (http://scrutable-systems.org). My role on the project was the design and implementation of the demo system, especially parts that concerned natural language generation and formal argumentation. This mostly involved designing and implementing various algorithms and data structures.

My PhD is in Natural Language Generation, a subfield of Artificial Intelligence concerned with generating text from non-linguistic input. For example, automatic generation of weather forecasts from numbers representing the temperature, wind and precipitation; or generating descriptions of concepts from databases or ontologies.
