  CVIS offers Consultancy and Services for medium- to large sized enterprises. Different consultancy project, like virtualisation, Nagios, NetApp and Open Source email solutions. Tuning RHEL5.5 server for optimal performance, in a VmWare environment, with Providex. I could get a performance winst of 45% by tuning kernel parameters, file-system en network.   At the headoffice in Europe, I was responsible for the whole IT infrastructure, running MS Windows NT4 and MS Windows 2000 servers starting with 3 servers. In the 3 years I've worked there, I reconfigured the whole IT infrastructure with a combination of MS Windows 2003 and Linux servers. The focus was to expand the infrastructure with the minimum of costs. Because LiteOn became a shareholder of 60% of Philips/BenQ in 2007, I migrated succesfully the IT infrastructure from the Philips network to an own network within the Philips buildings in Eindhoven. The costs reduce of IT for Philips/BenQ (later PDSL) was enourmous, thanks to this action. Show less
