Dany Griffiths - Feel Right Emotional Empowerment F.R.E.E. Pioneer

I was recently interviewed by Roismi for her My Trauma is Chronic but I am Iconic Podcast and found her to be professional, empathetic and considerate both in the lead-up to and the recording of the interview. I look forward to following the podcast when it has been launched and listening to the other interviews.

Role started on the 01/08/2023. As a CourtWatch London volunteer, I have the incredible opportunity to actively engage in the pursuit of justice. In this role, I diligently observe hearings in the magistrates courts, carefully documenting my observations to shed light on any hidden injustices within our legal system. This invaluable experience allows me to play a vital role in advocating for fairness and equality. Being part of the CourtWatch London community is truly inspiring. I have the privilege of connecting with a diverse group of individuals who share a deep-rooted passion for justice. Together, we work towards creating a more transparent and equitable legal system that upholds the principles of fairness for all. To ensure that I am fully equipped for my role, I have undergone comprehensive training that provides me with a comprehensive understanding of how the courts operate and the responsibilities associated with being a courtwatcher. This training has equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively carry out my duties and contribute meaningfully to the cause. By including my experience as a CourtWatch London volunteer in my CV, I can showcase my commitment to social justice and my dedication to advocating for a fair and transparent legal system. It demonstrates my ability to actively engage in important issues and contribute to positive change within our society. Show less

I started this role on the 05th of July 2023 after completing the training for this role. An expert by experience young person is someone who has firsthand experience of receiving care and treatment from mental health services. They have an in-depth understanding of the challenges and issues faced by patients, and can provide valuable feedback on how the service is being delivered. By having an expert by experience young person on the interview panel, the SLAM NHS can ensure that the patient perspective is taken into account when making important decisions about the delivery of mental health services. The role of an expert by experience young person on the interview panel is to provide insight into what it's like to receive care and treatment from NHS mental health services. They can offer feedback on the quality of care provided, the effectiveness of treatment, and the overall experience of receiving care. They can also provide input on how services can be improved to better meet the needs of patients. Having an expert by experience young person on the interview panel helps to ensure that the NHS is delivering high-quality care that meets the needs of patients. It also helps to ensure that the voices of patients are heard and that their opinions and experiences are taken into account when making important decisions about the delivery of mental health services. This can lead to better outcomes for patients, improved patient satisfaction, and a more effective and efficient NHS mental health service. Show less

The 2048 Fellowship is a charitable organisation founded by Palestinian artist Marwan Abdelhamid, also known as Saint Levant, and Lebanese social activist Stephani Moukhaiber. The fellowship is named after the year 2048, which marks the centenary of the Nakba and symbolises Arab futurism and the collective aspiration for a liberated Palestine. The fellowship aims to amplify the voices and perspectives of Palestinians who have endured prolonged oppression, marginalisation, and a lack of representation. The organisation's vision is to provide support to Palestinian talent and expand fellowship across the Levant to bring forth innovative ideas from the region to the rest of the world. I am excited about the 2048 Fellowship because it provides a platform for Palestinians to share their voices and perspectives, which have been marginalised for too long. The organisation aims to foster innovative thinking and bring forth ideas from the Levant region to the rest of the world. With the fellowship's focus on supporting Palestinian talent, it has the potential to make a transformative impact on the region and beyond. I have started communications with Marwan Abdelhamid (Saint Levant) about working with him on 2048 fellowship and invest in his brainchild "2048 fellowship" and after a long wait and still trying to make communication, I saw the opportunity when he posted about seed funders for 2048 and I saw the opportunity to invest. I am excited about the 2048 Fellowship because it provides a platform for Palestinians to share their voices and perspectives, which have been marginalised for too long. The organisation aims to foster innovative thinking and bring forth ideas from the Levant region to the rest of the world. I have begun my work from the 08/06/2023 and I am delighted to be part of the journey and to see this foundation thrive. Show less
