Rohan was a summer intern at Micello and was able to accomplish almost an entire go-to-market product with a small team and little technical direction. Rohan essentially drove the product from concept to near completion stage in one summer working with one other intern. It was Rohan's ability to quickly comprehend the subject matter, translate it into technical details and then execute on those details that was the most impressive. He was basically given the concept for the product then turned loose to create a living breathing product and he was able to do that quite well in a short amount of time. Surprising for a young developer.

I have worked with Rohan for the past few years at UC Berkeley and have been consistently impressed with his technical knowledge and his drive and passion to build, hack, and innovate. He is always looking to expand his knowledge of the tech industry and expand upon his amazing technical skills. He is an exceptional iOS developer and has worked with various APIs, frameworks, and programming languages and continues to develop his skills. He is also a team player and a great person to work with in general.

Founding engineer on the team. Tephra Labs is building products and protocols to enable large-scale human coordination. We're currently working on 2 products to support this vision. 1. Radius, a talent marketplace to connect individuals with the best projects and grants in web3: https://www.radius.space/ 2. Fern (under active development), a unified fiat and crypto payments application: https://www.fernhq.com/ As an engineer on the team, I've worked on a variety of full-stack features spanning both applications. Tech stack is Next JS / Vercel, TypeScript, SWR, Prisma ORM, Postgres, Chakra CSS. On the crypto side, using account abstraction SDKs, ethers.js, and Alchemy. I also participated in Macro's Fellowship (https://0xmacro.com/), a 6-week solidity bootcamp focusing on security fundamentals, and scored in the honors tier. Show less

Explored a variety of personal hobbies and professional ideas during my time off. 1. Veridata - a modern API for the background check industry Built a real-time, serverless data scraping platform on AWS to reliably pull public record data from court systems, while scaling gracefully to thousands of requests per second. We scraped dozens of county court record systems and built a deep solution for the NSOPW data source. The tech stack included AWS lambda, SQS, Dynamo DB, ECS, Python, JavaScript, puppeteer, browserless, flask, and postgres. 2. Crypto Deeply researched and experimented with web3 protocols for DAOs, Defi, NFTs, and blockchain gaming. 3. Esports As a side hobby, started to learn about the esports industry and participated and attended various halo infinite competitions. Set up my own gaming streaming for Twitch and started streaming my own chess games and halo! Show less

I joined the backend engineering team of ActionIQ, an Enterprise Customer Data Platform.I designed and implemented core modules of our streaming ingest pipeline involving Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and AWS serverless technologies. I then worked on a variety of robustness and performance challenges involving our Spark queries, as well as autoscaling our Spark clusters for cost efficiency.
