      Brisbane, Australia During 2012-2013 I was responsible for linkage map construction using any new data generated from a large multi-parent population of wheat. I was also responsible for the development of analysis software and visualisation tools to enable the analysis of such a large data set. I also worked on other projects, including the analysis of climate data in Sri Lanka and India, and the modelling of cattle behaviour using GPS collars.

      Brisbane, Australia As a graduate fellow I worked with the statistical genetics group, developing the methodology and associated software for performing QTL analysis using novel experimental populations. This work was based on the EM algorithm and had a significant computing component. I also worked with clients on external contracts. I produced the 2010/11 report assessing drinking water storages for Seqwater and helped develop statistical software for analysing stream networks.
