He has developed into a great inspector and has always asked questions that link directly to his job and was never afraid of asking the "silly" questions.

I was travelling around the country teaching team building days with my lead instructor, my primary job was ensuring that all the days ran smoothly and that we as a team were making sure that we got the individual schools values inserted to into different tasks to personalise each day to the schools the most important parts where when we where debriefing after an activity ensuring that all the pupils had an understanding of what they might have learnt from the task. As a senior instructor I was tasked with ensuring every one was mentally prepared for the day and that all the directions and positions where understood by the relevant people. I was also ensuring effective communication with the team in the office so they were aware of how our days were going and how the progress of the team was to the next school or overnight stay. I was ensuring all participants safety and encouraging correct procedures for them to access the high ropes course in an appropriate manner, this required motivating and supporting people from different age groups and all types of ability. one of my most memorable experiences was when I assisted a deaf person round with the basic sign language that I have learnt. That experience to me will be a forever memory as the participant was really unsure of whether or not to attended the session, so I communicated with the participant and their group on organising a time which would be the most effective to give them all the support they needed. Whilst I was working here as an instructor here I had more experience than some of the people that were hired at the same time so I comfortably assisted in helping them train their head game and there ability to kit up as I've been climbing for the last 15 years. I was also training people on rescuing and accessing manoeuvres once I had fully grasped the concept and was completely aware of how to do them safely. Show less
