Roger makes music come alive at Ellesmere. I've seen him at rehearsals and concerts and marvelled at the gentle manner by which he encourages and brings out the best in each individual. Most impressive for me was when the choir sings since they sing indeed for Roger. As a mentor I don't think you can get better than that.

This is a full time role teaching music across KS3/4/5 across the age range, School Organist, in charge of rock/pop music plus directing ensembles and choirs, including the Colet Choral Society, a soul band called SPGotSoul and various Close Harmony groups which I arrange for. I was Head of Academic Music from 2018-2022, part of which entailed running the School Directed Course, our own GSCE+ qualification for KS4.
