Roger was a Superintendent at Martin Corp when we met. He impressed me with the way he ran work, when he worked on a project I was in charge of for PCL. When the project ended I Recommended Roger to our Operations Manager because I knew we needed a Superintendent and he would be a great addition to PCL.

During the last 2 1/2 years I worked on one of the largest joint venture projects in San Diego County; The San Diego International Airport Terminal 2 Expansion. My position; Superintendent of the Exterior Building Envelope required me to organize & oversee all exterior envelope trades, with the ultimate goal of securing a dried-in building under budget and ahead of schedule, which I successfully did. My functions included but were not limited to: Oversaw all exterior envelope trades. Coordinated Structural Steel Erection of Curtain Wall System along with Factory spot inspections. Supervised Mockup and Testing of the Glazing and Seismic Limits of the Curtain Wall System at Smith-Emery Laboratories in L.A. Chaired Weekly Coordination Meetings with all Exterior Primary Contractors. Supervised Exterior Metal Stud Framing Plaster and Composite Wall System. Performed weekly site inspections for Safety Violations and implemented corrections. Supervised Cell-Crete and PVC Roofing operations. Revised, prepared, and updated progress schedules weekly. Supervised the installations of the Thysson -Krupp Public Boarding Bridges (PBB’s). Wrote work plans and Interface notices to the Airport Authority. Construction Managed TI Improvements to Delta and United Airline spaces. Generated & signed Supplemental Change Orders. Performed QA/QC & generated Punch list for all Exterior and most Interior finishes Show less
