Bio
Harry Vogel, Ph.D.
Roger is an outstanding colleague. I have conferred with him many times on the challenges I have faced while teaching at several institutions. He possesses an extensive knowledge of politics and interdepartmental relations within institutions. I recommend him without reservation as a teacher and colleague.
Harry Vogel, Ph.D.
I have known Roger for more than five years while serving as an assistant professor of sociology at Brewton-Parker College. He was a student in my criminology class in the fall of 2006 and he also completed an independent study with me in social demography. Accordingly, I am quite familiar with his work in academe. Roger was great to have in my class while I was teaching the criminology course. Not only was he well versed in the sociological components of criminology, but also possessed an extensive knowledge of the law. I do not have to tell you that he received the highest grade in the class. In terms of his performance in the social demography independent study, he did an exemplary job in completing the requirements of the course above and beyond my expectations. His oral report on census data to one of my upper level courses was well received by my students. In sum, I recommend Mr. Byrd with out reservation and feel that he will be a valuable asset to your institution. Harry L. Vogel, Ph.D. Brewton-Parker College
