This achievement has the capacity to transform the current landscape of energy and other markets requiring affordable, abundant, renewable hydrogen. The fundamental thermodynamics, chemistry, chemical kinetics, and solution chemistry have been developed by Cavendish to create patented intellectual property and trade secret information resulting in impressive empirical results with implications for commercial applications at many scales. Detailed market analyses have been conducted to validate market potential in telecom back-up power, tabletop hydrogen production units for analytical chemistry, hydrogen fueling stations, hydrogen-powered fork lifts, combined heat and power systems, horticulture, and numerous other near term civilian and defense applications. The functional advantages of the Cavendish Process and the underlying economics validate each of these markets as early targets for Cavendish Energy. The Cavendish technology and IP have been reviewed and verified by several of its industrial and research partners, including Alcoa, the Gas Technology Institute, Generac, Nabaltec, and Toyota. The R&D has been completed and a demonstration device currently exists that proves the technology and its ease of scalability for commercial integration at commercial hydrogen production quantities. A commercial-scale device is currently being developed and will be installed in client facilities in 2018. Show less
