Responsible for preparing, planning, coordination/management and control of actions on board with the services of the Production Department. Responsible for negotiating/budgeting and preparing additional work orders with the clients. Also the Project Manager responsible for the construction of two lifeboats for the Portuguese Navy and the also for maintenance of Moroccan Navy Ships. My role was to coordinate all the construction/repairs/maintenances to be carried out on a Ship, inspect, analyze and control all the works to be performed and as well the direct connection with the Owner's representative to discuss the works and budgets. My research, during that time, was about composites. Manufacture single skin composite plates by traditional method and by Resin Infusion method. Comparisons about this methods were made and several tests like impact, deflection, tensile and burn-off tests(resin content),... according to different configurations of plates. Concerning this new technique of Resin Infusion, you can see on the attached file, my Master's thesis. My research, during that time, was about composites.
