My son played football for Coach Torrence and I was on the Athletic board and worked for him for a year. He was one of the best coaches around. He was passionate for the game but cared more for the players and turning them into men not just athletes. He brought so much to the game and the school. The moral was high and the school was full of spirit. The kids were at a impressional age and he was the perfect fit to convince them to put God first and peer pressure last. He left such an impact on my son as a player and as a man that we can never thank him enough for. He also gave me a reason to be apart of such an amazing season. I know of several people that still talk about him and it has been years since he left the school. He is an outstanding coach, mentor and human being.
