  Implemented the first National Portfolio of funded organisations and established the end-to-end business process for 50% of the Arts Council’s annual turnover. Accountable for achieving £1bn of funding contracts on time and to compliance standard. I introduced a new approach to risk management, supported funded organisations at risk of failure, and contributed to national arts and culture policy.

  Established a new national investment centre, specifically leading for theatre, where I recruited, trained and managed a team of specialist grant assessors. As well as my art form, I had oversight for London (busiest and largest area in the country) and several policy areas. Was responsible for complex grant making judgments and project/risk monitoring.

  Responsible for advising and assessing funded theatres and performing arts companies, specialising in touring and organisational development. Led on the Sustain fund for the North West, supporting arts organisations during the recession. Secured £5m of national funding for the region.
