Duties included initially maintaining existing accounts and prospecting for new business in the western US for two distinct business units simultaneously. Patriot Forge being a custom forge shop and RSM being a standard ingot , billet, and large bar forger. Patriot being the parent company. Also developed a sales backlog of $5M for a greenfield plant (PSM) under construction during my tenure---facility was subsequently sold to a competitor. Primary focus of Patriot plant was power generation, military, and nuclear with a small emphasis and larger commercial forged bars.(4" and larger) RSM was focused on commercial aerospace sales of bar (10" +) billet ingot and conversion work. PSM was created as a VIMVAR plant with extensive HT and finishing capabilities all supported by the first high speed radial forge in NA.
