      The Program Manager contributes to all aspects of MetroLacrosse’s sports-based youth development programs for youth living in Boston’s historically underserved urban communities. Reporting to the Director of Youth and Rookie Programs, the Program Manager provides organizational and logistical assistance to MetroLacrosse’s year-round programs. The main responsibilities of the Program Manager are: • Assist with all logistical aspects of lacrosse programs in the spring and fall seasons, which could include: o One-day lacrosse tournaments and jamborees o Mailings and phone calls to recruit and retain participants o Daily communication by phone and email with program participants, volunteers, other staff and/or community partners o Data entry and paperwork management o Schedule practices, games, bus transportation and referees o Manage equipment and uniform inventory, ordering, and storage o Organize field permitting and lining o Work with other staff members to divide responsibilities and manage events. • Act as a point of contact between youth, families and MetroLacrosse. • Assist with the recruitment and retention of players into the program. • Communicate with players and parents should behavior or disciplinary issues arise during program delivery. • Teach and model MetroLacrosse’s R.E.S.P.E.C.T. educational curriculum. • Act as an instructor and role model during camps, demonstrations, clinics and MetroLacrosse practices and events. • Serve as a counselor for the SummerBounce and SummerScores camps. • Work in collaboration with the entire programming staff to support organizational goals. • Support and assist Development and Fundraising events as needed.
