Involved with a number of Reports / Board Papers / Consultation Papers prepared for the Commission to assist with its development of Security of Supply policy. Worked on projects for a number of clients including the Electricity Commission (now the Electricity Authority).   Before setting up Smart Power, Rod worked for the Electricity Corporation of NZ. Rod was in the Fuel Resources Group responsible for the order of dispatch of plant (considering both fuel cost and system security issues). While at ECNZ Rod was also part of a small group set up to initiate an internal market within ECNZ, a precursor to the NZEM. Before setting up Smart Power, Rod worked for the Electricity Corporation of NZ.
