After completing my C Cat at Wellington Aero Club, I began working there on a part-time/casual basis. The shiftwork involved with my full-time meteorologist role enabled me to instruct regularly on weekends as well as weekdays. Highlights and achievements: - took a student from ab-initio to PPL in a C182, which required several lesson modifications - flying and instructing at a busy international airport meant adapting quickly to changing traffic situations to maximise student learning - updated all briefings and set up PowerPoint presentations and student handouts - B Cat achieved October 2011 - volunteered at the Walsh Memorial Scout Flying School Took a break in 2012 to travel overseas for 6 months.
