We provide a wide range of services which enable seniors to remain in the home they love. Retire-At-Home has a time-honoured reputation of providing seniors and their families with home health care solutions that make their lives easier. Founded by Irene Martin, RN in Ottawa in 1994, our total care approach helps seniors keep their independence at home, while providing families with peace of mind and some relief from the stress they so often feel. Quality care, compassionate people and expert advice are the cornerstones of our service. No matter what challenges our clients are facing, Retire-At-Home has solutions that can help! Our wide range of home and health care services are completely customized and, with no contracts, our service is as flexible as required. Our comprehensive services include everything from basic companionship and outings, to nursing and palliative care. In 2006, Retire-At-Home launched a franchise program that helps compassionate entrepreneurs build a quality service and successful business in home health care. The franchise program includes a full training program and a 4-stage support program to help ensure franchisee success and quality of care. Retire-At-Home Services in Ottawa has been Accredited with Accreditation Canada. We are also and approved care providers for Veterans Affairs Canada and ICBC Health Care. We are proud members of the Better Business Bureau, Ontario Home Care Association, BC Care Providers Association, Alberta Home Care Association and the Canadian Franchise Association Show less

"Hope Lives Here: Reverend Al has been a spokesperson for many years. Now the Dandelion Society is at the front lines with him and there are stories that need to be told. At the heart of the Victoria Dandelion Society are the relationships between people with or without addictions and with or without mental health issues. We foster a respectful relationship between people who treat each other and find value in another as equals. We will be advocates for those with no power. We will speak out for social justice and equality for all." www.hopeliveshere.ca Show less
