Responsible for all HR functions for two locations with over 50 employees. Researched, directed and successfully launched a new payroll system with HRIS capabilities for company. HRIS system was introduced to employees in a gradual and systematic method, allowing them to become comfortable with its use. This moved the company toward a more automated efficient HR department with online open enrollment, and on boarding capabilities. Maintain personnel records. Assist employees with insurance and 401K issues. Maintain 401K insuring proper IRS 5500 filing. Work with insurance brokers to offer the best insurance/benefits package for a minimal cost to employees. Solve issues with FSA, FHA plans for employees. Handle all FMLA cases. Coordinate with Safety Manager on any injury cases. Organize events such as holiday parties and BBQ’s to promote employee morale. I reviewed all employees within company with exempt status. The review consisted of job function and compensation bringing company into compliance with new upcoming DOL regulations. In 2018 added purchasing to my responsibilities.
