  As a Senior Engineer, I worked on a team made up of three other developers and a Product Manager. Our challenges were: Reduce the number of calls related to update time and data inconsistency. The adopted solution was to use PostgreSQL's WAL functionality, where registration logs were sent to Kafka through Debezium. A Ruby application consumed and enriched the data before it was indexed into Elasticsearch. I was responsible for reviewing pull requests, helping with technical decisions, creating documentation and implementing metrics to monitor the product, in addition to refactoring and adding features. After a few weeks of the solution in production, we were able to measure and verify that the challenges were overcome, the user experience improved and the volume of calls was drastically reduced.   I Love Saúde is my personal project, it was born during the career transitions I made between the CLT and PJ regimes. Due to the need to contract a health plan when migrating to the PJ regime and the difficulties in finding information that would help in the best choice, I created a product that concentrates the best health plans in Brazil and connects the end user with insurance plan brokers. health. The project was developed in Ruby on Rails and is hosted on Heroku, uses Github Actions for continuous integration in the deploy, Rspec in the unit tests and PostgreSQL for the database, integration with SendGrid for sending emails, View Components for component reuse and separation of responsibilities.   In the Investment Funds team, I started as a Software Engineer and was promoted to Tech Lead, this team was composed of three other developers, a Product Owner and an Agile Specialist. Our challenges were: Maintain the entire ecosystem of micro services written in different languages (Ruby, .NET, Node JS, Flutter). Evolve the product according to business demands. Reduce the cost of implementing new features. Several solutions were adopted, such as the exchange of developers and the creation of “in house” courses in order to increase the team's knowledge of the technologies used, refactoring of applications with the aim of making business rules clearer and increasing test coverage. I was responsible for the technical and operational documentation (diagrams and procedures) that demonstrated the coupling between the micro services and the life cycle of the main operations of each one of them. Removing impediments, interviewing candidates, following up and participating in meetings with other teams and suppliers.   At Youse I had the opportunity to participate from the conception to the scaling phase of the products, passing through several teams. Our problems were: Scale the application to support the marketing team's investment in acquiring new customers. Integration with third-party APIs After a few months of operation and a big investment by the marketing team, the technical team made the decision to extract some domains from the monolith and create micro services. RabbitMQ was used for communication between services. The decision was based on some application points needing to scale more than others. My attributions were to add and refactor functionalities, participate in technical decisions, both in the Back End and in the Front End, participated in meetings with suppliers and evaluated candidate tests. I had the opportunity to be part of the engineering team that took care of the main applications that supported the entire operation of the company. I was promoted once and won a competition (Hackathon) where I could put the idea of the team into production.
