Project involved the management of a multifaceted consultant team and was delivered at 85% cost and 6 weeks ahead of schedule. • Responsible for managing and coordinating multiple facilities TI renovations in line with the 56 departmental moves and to a complex, interlinked schedule. • Responsible for delivering approximately $12m of elevator projects (20 elevators) across multiple healthcare facilities and within clinically sensitive environments. Currently responsible for delivering a $8m, 2.5 year, major elevator modernization project within one of the most sensitive buildings of Vancouver General Hospital’s campus.

Working as a Project Manager within Mace’s Public Sector Consultancy division, responsible for managing a range of projects within the London Healthcare sector. The role encompassed both a long term secondment within a leading London NHS Foundation Trust, as well as managing projects on behalf of third party clients within London’s private hospitals and NHS Trusts.The role encompassed a holistic management service across the RIBA plan of work, including the procurement and management of the design team, management of tender documentation, contractor selection and on site management and project closure. The role also comprised the effective management of project constraints (such as risk, financial, quality and time limitations) and close liaison with all project stakeholders.The role included working as part of a project management team responsible for the design and delivery of a multiphase, multimillion pound Orthopaedic Theatres Centre of Excellence. The Project was based at one of London’s central NHS Foundation Trusts and on behalf of a global leader in the healthcare market. Previously I was seconded to a leading London NHS Foundation Trust responsible for managing a range of healthcare projects within the Trust’s capital programme. The role incorporated both direct management of multiple internal hospital redevelopments, as well as various ‘landlord agent’ appointments for projects ranging in value from £2m to a new £55m clinical research facility. For all appointments, the role required a in depth understanding of the management of construction projects within a healthcare environment and the governing procedures required to mitigate disruption and ensure continued safe operation of the hospital.

During this role, I was engaged in multiple projects across southern England, to assist in the delivery of higher education projects within budget, quality and time constraints. The role included managing the commercial aspects of allocated works packages from procurement to final account, and inputting these into the total project cost plans / strategy. This role comprised the commercial management of construction projects as part of an on site (contractor side) team. This role included working within a pioneering and award winning project team to analyse the impact of habitual domestic ‘second-screening’ on the effectiveness of television advertising. The project was undertaken on behalf of a leading London television advertising agency.The role required the collection and analysis of bespoke qualitative data research to identify behavioural trends in television and second screen viewing.The role also included the management of qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis across various other client briefs and assistance in the production and presentation of debrief presentations.
