I was a social services intern at Lemay Avenue Health & Rehab, a skilled nursing facility that is part of Columbine Health Systems. I have done many cognitive and mood assessments of the residents in order to keep their files updated. I also have learned a great deal regarding the different mental and physical illnesses presented by the residents. I took part in the admissions, stay, and discharge of individuals that come to Lemay. I was a nanny for a family with three children that were 11, 10 and 8 years old when I first started. My duties were to pick the children up from middle and elementary school and take them home where I would monitor their snacks and homework. I also made sure that they cleaned up and stayed on track. These children were not allowed to do any screen time (e.g. t.v, computer, phones, etc.), therefore I had to entertain them in other ways which included playing outside, going to the pool, playing… Show more I was a nanny for a family with three children that were 11, 10 and 8 years old when I first started.
