ENG (Electronic News Gathering) is a very unique position within the media industry! It requires many different skills to provide our customers with the best service possible. Teamwork between us as a helicopter crew and our TV stations, is a very important part of our news operation. Our aerial coverage can be seen on many channels all across the Nation, and we provide our customers with stories that are both exciting and heartbreaking. Some of which will continue to be talked about for many years to come. Our aerial footage has even helped our customers develop news pieces that were Emmy nominated and winners! I’ve been with Helicopters Inc. for a little over 22 years as both a supervisor of our photojournalist team as well as a news helicopter photojournalist myself. I've flown over many news scenes and no matter how many stories I've covered, I haven't seen it all. There's always something unexpected that happens! Show less
