Momenteel ben ik werkzaam op de skilled service desk van CSC Nederland. Hier bedien ik samen met 26 andere collega's alle 28.500 medewerkers van NS en Nedtrain 24 uur per dag, 7 dagen per week. Hier lever ik eerste en deels tweedelijns support aan gebruikers van alle IT kantoorautomatisering. Deze service desk onderscheidt zich denk ik in het grote aantal oplosgroepen waarmee wij moeten samenwerken. Mede hierdoor moet men beschikken over een goed analytisch vermogen. Dit is belangrijk om incidenten zo goed mogelijk te analyseren voor een correcte registratie en routering. Het resultaat hiervan is dat 85% van alle meldingen direct door ons worden opgelost.
