  The Swedish Government Offices has initiated a commission that aims to speed up the process of electrifying the whole transport sector, including air, sea and land transportation. The commission is led by the minister for infrastructure and is made up of 16 commissioners from academia, the private and public sector. My role is to support the commission in achieving its aims.   I am currently on leave of absence due to other commitments within the Government Offices. Prior to this I worked on how the future balancing market should be designed. My areas of responsibility also included following and participating in developing the swedish and european gas market, where much focus is placed on the european green deal and sector coupling, including hydrogen. My responsibilites during 2020 included project managing two government appointed projects. The first project concerned a resource adequacy assessment of the swedish electricity market. In the second project we developed an implementation plan for adopting measures to eliminate any identified regulatory distortions or market failures. Show less

  I analysed the Rwandan Solar PV market and evaluated a company which had been funded by Agentschap NL, an agency within the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. I contributed with policy advice to public, private and international actors based on the framework Technological Innovation Systems. I for example advised the Rwandan Minister for Energy and Water how to best stimulate the domestic solar PV market in order to reach the 1,2 million rural households in need of electricity.
