Robin was a highly committed and effective manager of a change team. He took over a demotivated team and transformed both their morale and their effective delivery.

Rob worked for me in a number of capacities during his 13 years at United Biscuits. He has an exceptional ability for being able to translate strategic objectives into shop floor practicalities and excellent interpersonal skills that enable him to communicate at all levels in the organisation, these skills help ensure that Rob delivers positive results. He demonstrates outstanding loyalty in all the work he is involved in, and it is this combination of talent and behaviour that sets him apart from others. I have no hesitation in recommending Rob.

I joined Next shortly after the acquisition of Next Sourcing. Working closely with the Managing Director, I delivered a portfolio of business improvement projects that had been on Next’s wish list since the acquisition: • Production Efficiency: Increased production efficiency from 55% to 75%, as measured by the industry recognized GSD (General Sewing Data) Standard Minute Value method. • Virtual Manufacturing: Managed two business startups, based on a business model that gave… Show more I joined Next shortly after the acquisition of Next Sourcing. Achieved by transferring roles from Hong Kong to China. • Communications and Training: Developed a range of internal and external programmes. Invented ‘Nextopoly’, a training tool that gave Buyers a better understanding of the supply chain. • Overseas General Management Support: Managed the fit out of our office in Bangladesh. Managed our China Footwear office in the absence of a General Manager. • Corporate Risk & Responsibility: Raised standard of our overseas businesses to the same level as Next in the UK. I am an amateur developer in Microsoft Excel VBA, and in this role spent my free time creating many work related projects. I wrote an application for our planning team that reduced a 10 minute repetitive task to less than a second. Show less I joined Next shortly after the acquisition of Next Sourcing.
