Member of Talks Team

Oct 2018 - Mar 2019
The Summit has a long lasting history of inviting internationally respected experts in the fields of economics, academia, politics and business. These include several Nobel laureates and central bank executives. I joined the Talks Team this year, which is responsible for acquisition and handling of the speakers. This experience has played a big part in my time at university so far, and provided me with the opportunity of meeting many motivated, engaged and thriving students but also get in touch with high level professionals. I am planning to maintain my investment in the Summit for at least another year.

Head Boy

Sep 2014 - Oct 2017
Head Boy of the local Student's Union, representing 1400 students. This involved organising numerous events, including an an annual music festival in our high school, attended by up to 1000 guests and an annual charity Christmas-Bazar. Furthermore, I was responsible for coordinating and supervising the different union divisions and mediating between students and teachers. In that time I was able to get insights in the workings of a public organisation, establish leadership and decision-making skills and improve on my communication abilities

I took part in the organisation of FSK'17, a conference taking place in a local school over the course of a weekend, concerning the topics of democracy and education.
