  Volunteering for the Foundation combines two areas that hold great interest to me -- history and furthering my knowledge in fund-raising and membership development. It is an invaluable opportunity to learn the day-to-day workings from an organization that has accomplished so much for the Gettysburg Battlefield. As an Intern, I have learned how to research potential grant opportunities, as well as individual donors. And, as I have a Graphics background, I am helping to create some of the collateral pieces that will go to members.

While employed as Creative Director I was responsible for:- the creative and production process of all printed materials for the company, and all advertising needed to support Boyds wholesale and retail divisions. - directly resonponsible for management of three groups within the Marketing department: Graphic Design, Prepress and Photography.
