I got to know Robin when my daughter attended the school where Robin was the swimming coach. It was an entirely positive experience for daughter and our family. Unlike many coaches, Robin made the effort to understand his squad at the individual level meaning that their trust in him was huge. Moreover, he could demand more than they thought they could give and when it was delivered the relationship strengthened. By default, Robin is a laid back character but this should in no way be confused with his ability to push his charges through barriers on a regular basis. His approach has the benefit that you will keep coming back for more. In summary, Robin has the experience (he was and Olympian), the technical knowledge and the personal style to deliver the goods. I look forward to working with Robin again.
