Mediation for parents going through separation and divorce. Make all of the plans and decisions to file for an uncontested divorce within the safe, neutral, accountable space held by 2Peaceful Homes. Once all the paperwork is signed, we continue to provide a safe and supported space to confront the issues that arise as the official plans play out in real life. Divorce is often messy, and it triggers people's childhood traumas around worthiness, attachment, and shame. This can cause even the most well-intentioned parents to turn inward and behave selfishly, sometimes inadvertently involving their children in their ongoing conflicts. Inward reflection and selfishness are fine and can be a healthy part of the divorce process, but it shouldn't be something children have to experience. Children need their parents to support them through this difficult life change. 2Peaceful Homes mediation supports parents going through separation and divorce to confront the anger, grief, and vulnerability divorce creates openly and honestly in a safe and neutral space so parents can go home and be the supportive adults their children need them to be at home. If they can no longer provide one peaceful home, we can help parents provide 2Peaceful Homes.
