Major achievements include : • Developed a global set of pricing guidelines to bring consistency to pricing decisions across sites using different platforms. • Led a clearchoice with the endorsement of Exco to shape the future strategy of pricing and portfolio management tools across the global business • Significantly improved analytical capability of the global business by driving and embedding the use of Group Capital reporting systems (RCT) • Developed and implemented a set of globally consistent Portfolio Risk MI across both the global business and regions. The role primarily served the Invoice Finance Business with a balance sheet of £2bn net income of c£100m and over 300 FTE. As a Finance Manager this included : • Delivering timely operating plans and challenging the business senior management to deliver plans in line with group expectations. • Monitoring and reporting performance against plan and promptly identifying performance issues. • Maintaining effective cost control which included implementing MI to tightly control T&E expenditure and identify savings to IT recharges through ensuring the correct use of hardware. • Presenting Financial performance highlights to the monthly Senior management meetings • Ensuring relevance of MI, which involved simplifying the proliferation of reports across the business and streamlining of MI production processes.
