  I started working as a receptionist checking in patients and collecting copays. From that position I moved to working the switchboard, appointment sch.by phone. I later was in charge of making sure the Dr. dictation went out and was returned in a timely manner, downloading the finished product and filing it in the patient's chart for both electronic and paper. I advanced to the position of Medical Claims Billing, filing all claims to the proper insurance company for proper payment, both electronic and paper. This also included attaching all necessary documents for prompt payment. I also was crossed trained in posting charges and receipts. Show less
