Co-designer for a 225,000 sf mixed-use apartment and retail building (not built). Co-designer for Mayberry Inn and Spa, a boutique condotel wit rooftop tapas bar, pool, and cabanas (not built). Co-designer for several small projects at Virginia Western Community College including exterior campus signage, internet cafe renovation, and upfit of a conditioned pedestrian bridge over a major roadway. Performed standard intern duties including site analysis, preliminary design and development, code research, construction documents,specification writing, and shop drawing review.

Architectural Intern

Co-designer for the Brown Residence, a $2 million with an indoor pool and gymnasium. Co-designer and project manager for 310 Second St., a 1500 sq. ft. commercial renovation awarded the Order of the Golden Trowel by Downtown Roanoke Inc. for meritorious downtown improvements. Construction Administration for the Imperial Centre for the Arts and Sciences, a $24 million Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit renovation of an historic tobacco factory into a science and fine arts complex. Performed standard intern duties including site analysis, preliminary design and design development, code research, construction documents, and engineering coordination.
