R&D Project Co-ordinator and Production Planner
-
Jun 2014 - Apr 2016
Originally hired for the role of assistant production planner, I have grown and expanded my role in the organisation to the R&D department where I oversee and document all research and development activities taking place throughout the organisation. My duties as a production planner include liaising with members of our sales departments, deciding upon machine prioritization and micro-sales strategy, and costing all prospective tray sales. As R&D project manager, I co-conduct experiments, record and collate their findings, and write technical reports based on their findings. I also care for a laboratory of test equipment designed for the plastic industry, which are often used in the aforementioned experiments. I also liaised with an outside accounting firm and through several different government schemes, recouped costs of €30,000 since I acquired the position. In addition to this, I chair weekly tooling development and improvement meetings for the purposes of continuous improvement and modernization.
