Growing up, Dj Thieves played; piano, clarinet, guitar and the drums and at some moments you would catch him singing. After admiring his older cousins talents of being DJs themselves, Thieves began to learn how to DJ at the age of 13 in 2003 . He was taught by his ever-talented cousin Murda 1 (DMC Champion DRUM & BASS // HIP HOP // TURNTABLIST). Learning the basics and fundamentals on vinyl and hand-me-down records from his cousins, Thieves became confident to take it to the next level and begin a full time career in Dj'ing. Once Dj Thieves hit the clubbing scene he turned to CDJs and Serato. Stealing the show ever since. Holding long standing residencies at bars and nightclubs all over Sydney including Side Bar, The Golden Sheaf, The Backroom Sydney, Beach Haus, The Island, The Standard Bowl, El Topo, Casablanca Bar Double Bay and the infamous Ivy. Thieves has taken his talent and shown it off not only to the rest of Australia with his interstate gigs, but to the entire world, playing in venues across Europe, UK, America and even Asia. Having a very dynamic repertoire Thieves is able to steal the show with every performance. To this day playing clubs all over Sydney, Australia and Internationally being recognised, THIEVES is known to be a resident Dj at the hottest nightclubs. He has played for big names from around the world and not to mention partied like a rockstar with them. As an ever growing dj there is so much more to come from DJ THIEVES! Stay Tuned. Or you might miss a beat.

Enrolment Consultant

Jan 2017 - Apr 2017
As an Enrolment Consultant at Open Colleges, working in the Design, Science, Technology and Trades department my role was to talk to new potential students, and provide a high level of customer service delivery. Throughout the consultation I would identify the students' needs and reasons to study and what motivated them to do so, and through this build strong relationship with my clients. As part of this role, it was vital that I was skilled in overcoming objections, as well as effective time management to ensure that I was able to meet and exceed my production targets.

Trade Assistant

Sep 2014 - Jan 2017
As a Trade Assistant, assisting in multiple tasks across various stages of work at several different sites, tasks included; demolition, framework, planning and set out, carpentry, excavation and reading of plans. After working with several trades and subcontractors, I became a 2IC on a project which allowed me to work end to end and trained me to work on several skills including; project planning, project management and working to strict deadlines, reading plans, setting out, demolition, excavation, framework, flooring, decking and maintenance. On completion of the project I ran a 2 small maintenance projects, which included organising and working with subcontractors to begin and complete the build of a luxury property whilst also liaising with the owner and design team. Following this I ran the internal fit-out and renovation of a luxury home in Vaucluse, the project was an expansion of 2 bedrooms, demolition of a marble bathroom, the replacement of a timber stairwell and cinema. My last project was as a 2IC on a complete renovation of a recently purchased property, this required working with contractors, project management, carpentry and demolition as the renovation had several architecturally testing plans in the project.

By identifying particular needs and understanding my customer's future plans I was able to explain the benefits of a comprehensive and diverse range of products and services. Often I saw a need to refer the customer on to one of the specialist teams such as business banking or financial planning to ensure that I had provided them with the best possible care and experience.
