Here, I manage New Business, Compensation, and Licensing, consisting of 124 staff members, at a company with $14B in annual sales and $2.25B annual net income. I oversee the design of the future state of service model for New Business. I also enhance the Advisor experience with Individual Retirement through ease of doing business initiatives. I'm a key collaborator with the Finance team to build a Unit Cost Model. I implemented the use of ABC timings for metrics and budgeting. I also liaise with Compliance, Legal and Industry groups to interpret regulatory requirements and determine their impact to operational procedures and processes. And I partner with Product Management and other service areas to support the roll-out of new products and the on-boarding of new distribution partners. Most notably, I identified a cost savings opportunity saving thye company $800K annually and slashing licensing costs by 45%, leading to the adoption of the practice by other business units for substantial savings company wide. As well, I spearheaded the merging of two legacy New Business Teams across two geographical locations, providing uniform service experience to customers and improving score cards from distribution partners. My proactive actions in this role has increased productivity by about 8% annually year over year for six years. Show less
