While the website has existed since 2013, I took over as developer on 2015 and continued into 2016. My duties for the 2015 revision revolved primarily around overhauling the CMS used to populate most of the dynamic information that is part of the website and to increase the flexibility of the front-end templates (HTML and CSS) to allow for more significant design changes from year to year while reducing the time and effort required to do so. For the 2016 revision, primary work was the implementation of a new design as well as a number of small CMS updates to account for new data entry options as requested by the client. -- DEO 2013 (Wordpress), 2014 (Wordpress), 2015 (Jekyll) -- The Development Effectiveness Overview is an annual report produced by the Inter-American Development Bank to summarize the impact and contributions of the IDB's development efforts in their member countries in the previous year. The DEO website is an online version of the report. General goals and responsibilities throughout the multiple editions included: - Create a responsive, modern website with high compatibility with older browsers (to account for the target audience in Latin America) - Advising the design team on the technical possibilities for presenting large volumes of information and the structured data that is part of the report. - Implement the yearly design and any necessary CMS functionality to simplify the job of populating the website Show less
