I met Roberto for first time during one of my trips from Singapore to Keppel AMFELS shipyard in Brownsville in 2003. In 2006 I also joined AMFELS and our paths crossed again. Then in 2012 we met for third time in F&G in Houston, TX. Roberto is a extremely talented and knowledgeable engineer and a very well organized project manager with high level of integrity. He always meticulously examines and analyzes in great details all the aspects of an issue , which allows him to make at the end wise and well-though decisions. He has this unique quality of a servant-leader that a only a few managers possess. Roberto always encourages everyone to think independently and whilst mentoring he is not always providing the complete solution but instead he is encouraging everyone to independently think and learn in the process. He leads by example and he is always there to help, to point out a colleague to an expert, or to provide a valuable clue towards the right solution.
