Experience

    • Founding Partner & Operations Director
      • 2009 - Present

Looking to take advantage of the interest investors were showing in the Marbella real estate market, myself and my other partner of MMIX Concepts S.L: decided to merge with a small but established real estate company in Marbella in August 2013 and rebranded as Asset Folio S.L. a dedicated brokerage firm specialising in residential real estate. I have worked my directorship controlling all the financial, design, marketing and operational sides of the business as well as any commercial opportunities the company handles. Along with my two other directors we have grown the company from a total of 4 people in the beginning to an operation of 14 in a little under 2 years with a total sales revenue expected to top €75m by the end of 2015 and a long list of professional achievements.

After one year working in an exclusive capacity Crown offered Decade 201 Ltd. and the two directors a more permanent position in the company along with a share option. During this time I worked as Commercial Director where I was in charge of all design, marketing and sales material for the company. In 3 years I managed the financial feasibility, marketing and commercialisation strategy for 20 projects in the Cayman Islands, US, UK and Australia. From 2011 to 2012 we doubled sales revenue from £4.8m to £10.5m, upon our departure in August 2013 sales were on target to reach £15m - at the time our average sales price was £47,000 so 2013 volumes were targeted at 336 units. A difference of opinion on the company’s future led to Decade 201 withdrawing from our share option and directorships.

    • Co Owner
      • 2009 - 2013

Using the experience and sales network developed from the Bulgarian project I set out in 2009 to set up a real estate brokerage and partnered with a friend who had also built a wealth of experience in the Dubai property scene. We quickly attracted the attention of a Caribbean land acquisition company who contracted our services exclusively to manage all marketing, design, project conceptualisation and agency sales.. The operation was run from our Spanish office under the company name MMIX Concepts S.L. During this period Decade 201 Ltd were involved in the commercialisation of over 350 properties with a sales value of £30m.

      • 2007 - 2009

In 2007 with the exceeds from the sale of Liquid Lounge I purchased a large plot of land adjacent to a Jack Nicklaus design golf course in the spa town of Dolna Banya in Bulgaria where I put together a project of 72 two and three bedroom villas called Seven Lakes. Unfortunately the economic downturn forced us to stop the project in 2009 when the bank failed to deliver mortgages to our clients on the first completed phase of 21 units that resulted in us failing to meet our construction finance repayments. Expo Limited was put into bankruptcy in 2010.

    • General Manager
      • 2006 - 2007

I was contracted to stay at Liquid Lounge for 12 months as general manager where I worked closely with the group’s operational team.

    • Co Owner
      • 2002 - 2006

After a year working in London I was presented with an opportunity to explore the potential to open a restaurant in Puerto Banus, Spain and jumped at the chance, finally opening the Liquid Lounge Bar & Restaurant with my brother and business partner in 2002 where I enjoyed 5 very successful years that concluded in 2006 with a successful sale of the business to the Terra Sana restaurant group.

    • Account Manager
      • 2001 - 2002

Fresh from university and keen to explore a career in design I was given the opportunity in 2001 to work in London for a small, well respected marketing agency Gloria Mundi as an Account Manager looking after accounts such as Nando’s Chicken, It’s A Scream Public Houses and Whittard’s of Chelsea.
