      At the Tourism Board I was responsible for Responsible for creating and implementing marketing campaigns to promote the State of Yucatan & lead tourism delegations to create strategic alliances. My specific focus was the Cruise Industry & the Asian Market however I also looked after the Disabled Tourism sector and Education Tourism. Whilst I was the Cruise Sector Manager my job entailed working with loca port authorities to improve the cruise terminal, Carry out trade missions to companies such as Royal Carribbean, Norweigan and Carnival Cruise Lines. During this time I helped to organize the FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show with 1,000 of the world top executives. This helped cruise number increase by 32 ships from 2016 to 2019, representing a passenger increase of 120,000 a year which overall increased the amount of dollars spent in the port. I also worked on the first approved Yucatan State TV Campaign in Japan and the launch of our promotional campaign there. I also represented the state in Japan on trade missions and positioned Yucatan as the 2nd most visited destination for Japanese people in Mexico. I was also the official translator for the Governor of Yucatan and worked with him during the Nobel eace Prize summit in Merida where I worked along side Lord David Trimble as his chaperone. My proudest achievement was the establishment of the Educational and Disabled Tourism Niches where I was in charge of the first edition of the Deaf Peoples of the Americas Summit and the certification of the first deaf tour guides in the state.
