Certified by the New Jersey Police Training Commission to instruct in the Basic Course for Police Officers, as well as other specialty topics including Firearms, RADAR operation and instruction, Report Writing, and Methods of Instruction (train-the-trainer) Currently serve as an adjunct member of the instructional staff at the Essex County Police Academy in Cedar Grove, NJ, primarily as a Firearms Instructor. I work directly under the Academy's Range Master, participating in both classroom & practical application of mandatory training topics related to the responsibilities, nomenclature, operation & legal considerations in the use of firearms in law enforcement. Training also includes detailed instruction & coaching in the deployment of firearms, including practice & testing in the functional area of firearms as prescribed by the NJ Police Training Commission and the NJ Attorney General, successful completion of which, is a mandatory requirement in order to successfully graduate the basic training course. I have previously served as an instructor at the Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute, and at the Jersey City Police Academy (defunct) Also instruct in other topics as required or requested.
