I was trained in a variety of areas, including but not limited to - emergency response driving, report writing and english language, public speaking and presentations, firearms enquiry, counter terrorism, property security surveys and child protection. I spent time in 2010 attached to the CID Unit at Dunoon and was part of the investigation team on a number of high profile cases including murder, serious assaults, firearms possession and serious domestic abuse. As a community officer I spent time in schools and other community events giving presentations to children and providing adult training in a variety of areas including bullying, road safety, drug awareness, partnership working and home security.
