Jun 2002 - Mar 2005
I started off training after boot camp in Pensacola Fl. as an aircreman as well as a search and rescue swimmer. After training I was sent to be stationed on board the U.S.S. John C. Stennis as a member of the Aviation Ordnance Department. While working in the Aviation Ordnance for about a year I decided I wanted to work on the flight deck of the ship. I was then transfered to work with the Air Department as an Airmen securing aircraft to the flight deck and towing aircraft with tractors. Soon after returning from a 6 month deployment I decided it was time for me to work on finishing my naval career. On March 3rd 2005 I was discharged from the U.S. Navy, and it was the day before my 21st birhtday. Since then I have been enjoying life so much more than when I was inlisted in the U.S. Navy.
