    • Project Manager; Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs)
      • Sep 2013 - Dec 2015

I manage several national PROMs registrations in clinical practice, i.e the Dutch Society Spine Register (DSSR), the Parkinson Register and the Dutch Surgical Colorectal Register (DSCA). In addition I coordinate the concerning PROMs methodology (including selection of appropriate questionnaires, PROMs data collection, scoring methodology, matching methodology etc.) Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) assess a patient’s health status or health-related quality of life, and are collected through short and simple questionnaires. This health status information is collected before and after a procedure and provides an indication of the outcomes or quality of care delivered to patients. These PROMs questionnaires can be completed by patients about themselves, or by others on their behalf. PROMs offer enormous potential to improve the quality and results of health services. They provide validated evidence how the patients perceive their health and the impact that treatments have on their quality of life. Show less
