  Personal shopper and retail assistant Full time positionI have been employed by Beyond Retro Dalston since March 2013, and have achieved the position of ambassador for best presentation and best customer service in the store. Working in this store has increased my knowledge of styles and types of clothing and my ability to style customers. I specialise in menswear – casual and formal and I am responsible for these sections. Duties include:- Personal shopping services provided to customers, with particular emphasis on occasional wear- Advising customers and building up relationship with clients- Till duties, including serving customers and cashing up- Stock replenishment and care. Many of our items are vintage and fragile and require care when handling.- Giving talks about fashion through decades and high end designers on morning staff meetings and company events- Occasional visual merchandising

  I worked for Relic Vintage in San Francisco whole summer 2016, one of the best vintage stores in the world. I only came here for the summer but I already gained new knowledge about fashion decades and archive pieces. We do carry vintage designer pieces from mid 1950´s Dior to Pucci and I take special interest in wicker figural handbags and accessories. Duties include: -Personal shopping services provided to customers and giving historical background and importance of the product within the talk, extra help at the changing rooms -Advising customers and building up relationship with clients -Assisting designers and film costume designers with their requirements -Till duties and first class product presentation when packing and giftwrapping -Key holder position -Stock replenishment and care, many items are vintage and fragile, some of them museum worth pieces and very expensive
