I had the pleasure of working with Roberta at La Grange Park Public Library from 2015 - 2018. During this time, Roberta was a vital member of our management team, leading the Circulation Department and a staff of 13. Her major contributions included assisting with the development of a strategic plan, creating and rolling out staff-wide competencies, deploying RFID technology and introducing self-checkout stations, and merging our Circulation and Technical Services Departments into one cohesive unit. Roberta has a can-do attitude and meets whatever challenges she is given with a curious mind, a detailed and organized plan, and a sense of humor. Her desire is to complete projects at the highest standards and she welcomes regular feedback and input from her peers and supervisors. Roberta has a wonderful personality. She is easy to talk with, brings an extraordinary sense of humor to all she does, and is well liked by everyone she meets. One of her greatest assets is her inter-personal skill and creating an environment where people want to work and achieve together. Roberta is an asset to the library field and will undoubtedly contribute greatly to any organization lucky enough to have her.
