I managed Rob when I was in Neuroscience. He was focused, determined and very successful, winning multiple All Star trips. Due to his work ethic, positive attitude during uncertain times, and his sales talent, I hired him the moment I had an opening at Abbott Diabetes Care. Rob's success continued as he lead the Nation in the FreeStyle Promise Program, (and not by a small margin) and won trip his first year he was eligible. If given the opportunity, I would hire Rob again without a hesitation. This salesman figures it out when there is no road map, and will find the proper way to ensure his success.

I had the pleasure to work for Robert at FedEx Office as an assistant manager in his office. I had previously worked under Rob at another company prior to FedEx Office, and chose to leave to work with him here. I think that alone shows how effective and empowering a leader Rob is. Robert has an infectiously positive attitude. I would label Robert as a problem solver. Armed with his energizing attitude, he listens to a customer's request, no matter how unique, and without fail will find a way to take care of the customer and their needs. Robert not only finds ways to meet customer demands, he also builds customer loyalty. While working with Robert at FedEx Office, I noticed he would always have at the top of his mind how to make sure that customers would always think of FedEx Office first to meet their future project needs. This loyalty building helped build our profits immensely as we opened and got our office running. Robert's conduct toward customers in the office was infectious. His treatment of customers and building of customer loyalty permeated through all of his team members, creating a wonderful team environment focused on building lasting customer relationships. I cannot imagine Robert not adapting and working well in any customer-centric and team work environment. I was lucky to report to him at two different jobs, and servant attitude has carried our friendship well past our working together.
