Worked directly for the Director of the Corporate Sector of Volunteer Ireland coordinating a multi county wide community improvement campaign. This has been an ongoing relationship between AbbVie and Volunteer Ireland since 2016. The cities included Sligo, Westport, Cork, and Dublin. During my time I worked closely with the sponsoring corporation of AbbVie and all of the volunteer trades. My responsibilities also included the coordination of volunteer labor assigned to actual execution of tasks within each community property. During the weeklong campaign, I was on site in Sligo directing shifts of trade partners and over 240 volunteers in to ensure on time and on budget completion of our mission. I’ll also served as a liaison between Volunteer Ireland and Salesforce Dublin in helping with onboarding new associates with regards to the opportunities to volunteer through the national volunteer organization. This opportunity has helped me further develop my excel skills in an effort to organize large and various amounts of information. I also developed an understanding and respect for the relationship between nonprofit and corporate companies. Following the successful completion of our objective I was responsible for summarizing and updating information on the turnout of 1,100 volunteers. This will help quantify the actual volunteer counts and our turn out percentages. This data will help in the execution of future projects to better understand volunteer needs with relation to the scope of the mission at hand. Show less
