AI will have a real challenge in creating superintelligent robot programmers when it’s competing with people like Robert. I had the pleasure of working with Robert for two years at Future Ordering in his role as Head of Development. I was particularly impressed by Robert’s ability to always stay curious and open-minded to improve the product and how he guided us tough our ever-changing business processes, requirement specifications and prioritized feature requests—effortlessly. That skill often takes years to develop as a System Developer or IT-Architect, but it seemed to come perfectly naturally to him. In a more and more complex world where technology evolves faster and faster it soon becomes impossible for one person to predict and plan a products architecture and implementation. Robert has an inspiring way of engaging with co-workers where they as a team always came out with a far superior solution then we first thought was possible. No matter how tense a meeting or deadline, Robert made sure no one left without being heard. #peoplefirst #trusted #empowerment #accountability #continousimprovements #datadriven #customerempathy

Robert is one of those rare developers that not only have a natural talent for the profession but also have a constant strive to expand his knowledge and improve his craftsmanship. I had the honor of working besides him for a number of years on a number of different projects and I was impressed that he always had the big picture in mind when proposing a technical solution and made sure that we never ran into any dead ends by having an architecture that wasn't thought through. This combined with his strong programming skill ensured the quality of the delivered solution. He also left me impressed by his technical know-how and knowledge of new frameworks and technologies that emerged on the market. He was always the go-to guy if you wanted to ask about something new that you had read about. I would gladly recommend Robert any day!

In my role as Product Owner and Solutions Architect at Future Ordering I have had a central responsibility for the direction of the Future Ordering platform. Mostly from a technical side, to ensure we plan and achieve our goals both short-term and long term, but also from a solutions side, ensuring that we focus and prioritize the things which are important and give the most value for our customers. I have constantly been involved in planning discussions with all development teams and provided a discussion partner and/or answers/plans as needed. I have also been responsible for high level current and future architecture of the Future Ordering platform. I have also been striving to raise the level of product roadmap planning to an objectives based planning, to ensure that all teams have a clearer view of the organizational priorities both right now and what is on the horizon.FUTURE ORDERINGOur Self-ordering application enables kiosk ordering, app ordering and responsive web ordering - seamlessly integrated with your Point of Sale, marketing and loyalty system and day-to-day operations. As Head of Development for an organization starting as a start-up and rapidly growing and needing to scale, I have ensured that we have development practices and a development organization which also scales, while putting a focus on having a positive and friendly work environment. A very important part in achieving this was introducing development teams which have ownership and responsibilities over specific systems in the solution. I also had responsibility for systems level architecture, to ensure each team can work and make decisions autonomously without loosing the high level picture. I was also part of the product council determining the product roadmap. I have also enjoyed being a discussion partner and assistance to any developer on any of the teams and worked as a bridge between management and development teams.FUTURE ORDERINGOur Self-ordering application enables kiosk ordering, app ordering and responsive web ordering - seamlessly integrated with your Point of Sale, marketing and loyalty system and day-to-day operations. During my time at Headlight I worked on both large and small projects, mostly for a large international organization in the steel industry, in both distributed and centralized teams. As a consultant I got a lot of experience working with different organizations and groups and was well liked by collegues, customers and software users alike. Between 2009 and 2012 I worked as a remote employee from northern Sweden. Headlight is an IT consultant firm with many clients in the industry and public sectors, such as Outokumpu Stainless, the Swedish Transport Agency and Ericsson.

At Softgear, a company which specialized in graphical production and software development, I worked mainly as a Software Developer but also had responsibility for the server infrastructure. As a Software Developer I worked both as a consultant and during in-house projects. A large portion of the clients were in the advertisement or tourism areas. During the first part of my employment at Mertil, I was working with server management as well as implementation and maintenance of the company intranet. I was also developing software to support and further the company's main focus; technical documentation, by for example developing custom web parts and additions to SharePoint. Two years later, my role was mostly software development, but still with responsibility for the IT-environment of the organization. During these years, my main development focus was web based systems and SharePoint development.
