Worked closely with Senior Network Engineer to develop PowerShell scripts and SQL queries to gather data on Air Force Civil Engineering Center’s networked computers related to software update status and report findings to management. Aided in agency-wide migration to Windows 10 OS by prepping newly deployed laptops for installation in addition to tracking completion status. Constant broadening of understanding of PowerShell and SQL in regards to improving data gathering methodology and trend analysis. Upon receipt of Administrative account, also assisted in helpdesk requests as requested by supervisor. Assumed duties of Alternate Unit Software license Manager in November 2018 which added the procurement of software licenses and applications, and approval of install for all computers for AFCEC/AFIMSC/AFICC to the list of duties. This also included a constant monitoring of the Air Force and Army’s Approved Product Lists to ensure all software on the network is in compliance with Air Force guidelines, and maintaining an accurate inventory of number of licenses and installs across the network. Additionally, ensured that licenses remained current, and worked with the Tech team to mitigate any anomalies regarding out of date or unlicensed software.
